The blog is moving... already.

I know I haven't had this blog up for very long, but I'm already moving it. In the spirit of simplifying and beautifying things. (Especially in the days of mobile and RSS prevalence.) I'm moving the blog over to Tumblr.

You can see future posts at http://roofuskit.tumblr.com/ I'll be leaving this blog up for a while since some major sites already link to my A2DP conversion post, but there won't be any new posts here.

My 25 must have Android apps

The share of my friends who've chosen the light side of the force (aka Android) is growing every day. So I decided to make this guide. New users, power users, and budget users should all stand to benefit from these apps.

The Future of Android and Google Plus

Now that Twitter is integrated into iOS, when will we see tighter Google Plus integration in Android? I think Android has a bright future with or without Google Plus, but I cannot say the same about Google Plus being able to survive without leveraging Android and it's mobile market share.

Futurama loves hackers

So, did anybody else notice this Thursday's episode of Futurama was all about the legal repercussions of hacking? Bender was overclocked and modified by Qbert, in order to increase his gaming skills, bringing down a firestorm of legal action from Mom's Robotic.

Quite entertaining, and refreshing to see something so popular taking on the issue. My favorite line came after Qbert and The Professor were thrown in jail.

Professor: "Oh god, I clicked without reading!"
Q*bert: "And I slightly modified a thing that I own!"
Professor: "WE'RE MONSTERS!"

The episode takes a stab at the insanity that is licensing agreements, as well as the legal battles that usually follow high profile hacks, like the Geohot vs Sony battle. In the end, nothing is really solved in the court room, and bender gets reset to factory settings. But all in all, it's a pretty good episode to introduce your friends to the absurd battles the hacker community is fighting every day. And It's nice to see the Futurama crew has our back.

Calling all makers!

In the spirit of making Google+ a maker friendly space, where people can share ideas. I'm going to offer up my invite link for all. I'm not fishing to get in your circles, I'm not really a "friend counter." I'm just looking to infuse G+ with the kind of people I enjoy conversing with.

The only thing I ask is you don't use my link for some kind of second account.

So, calling all makers click here to join Google Plus!

Tape deck A2DP conversion

I've had a dream since the day I learned about A2DP aka stereo Bluetooth. I've always wanted to be able to turn my car on, pull out my cell phone, and just play my music library from there. One device, zero wires, infinite satisfaction. After going through countless tape adapters, I got fed up, and made my dream come true.
